Injector Cleaner
After a lot of research gathering from people who should know this was one of a few brands of cleaners that was " known to work " ....... it did the job albeit it took a second dose a few 1000 KM 's later to get any sort of lasting results . Apparently a maintenance dose at every oil change is a wise investment . I can also confirm that of the local brands that the Nulon brand also gave nearly identical results . The fault that I had was pinging seemingly caused by carbon build up , the motor was supposed to take 91 octane fuel but for the past several years has needed 94 / 95 octane , this was needed to prevent pinging , in the 6 months leading up to the use of this it was even pinging on 94/95 and needed 98 octane to stop ! Over a 1-2 year period I tried this and the Nulon brand , both ... Car is a 1997 Ford Fairlane V8 with 320,000 Km , in good condition ( motor does not use oil between changes ) and has never had the fuel injectors removed for ultrasonic cleaning which was to be the next step had this not worked !

Red Line fuel cleaner
Red Line is one of few fuel system cleaners containing large amounts of Polyetheramines (PEA) in levels well above 400 p.p.m.Red Line cleans the fuel pump,inlet manifold,throttle body,fuel injectors and cleans carburetors and removes carbon from inside the combustion chamber including the valves,piston crowns and leaves a residue behind that resists carbon build up.Many other brands use additives that clean the complete fuel system but may cause carbon build up on valves.Only large amounts of PEA will clean everything properly .Moreover, I have used Red Line fuel system cleaner in my 4 stroke Honda lawnmower,brush cutter and garden trimmer in the correct dosage since new and run it through prior to each engine oil change and it works well on engines with carburetors or fuel injectors. I ... The best product available on the market...Hands down!!
This product is amazing. I was having problem with blocked injectors on my directed injected Alfa Romeo JTS engine. My long term fuel trims were 12 on bank 1 and 9 on bank2. I was having problems with flat spots on acceleration and my idle was very poor. After using this product the fuel trims have again returned to normal, the flat spot is gone and the car is idling much much better. This product has the highest amount of PEA in it so it cleans the carbon from the injectors like no other cleaner. Thanks you very much for a great product. This product is amazing.
