    USB to RJ-45 Concole Cable - No Serial Port needed

    High quality and sturdy cable which replaces the need for a connection to a serial port or the need for a separate USB to Serial (Male) dongle. I recommend this cable for people who build Cisco labs and use laptops without serial ports (which is all of them these days.) Mine worked after I downloaded the driver on FTDI Chip's website and installed it by using the Device Manager. It's easy to use and works immediately after the driver is installed. I recommend this product.

    These are great, no more clunky USB adapters needed.

    I was very happy with this item, it worked as described and saves me the hassle and bulk of having to deal with a USB to Serial adapter. I only wish I had found it sooner. Connects to the USB port, installs without needing special drivers or software and connects to Cisco RJ45 console ports.

    Perfect USB-to-Console Serial Cable

    It is exactly what I needed to configure some networking equipment. It seems to be built well and I expect it to last a very long time. It is also natively supported in Linux (at least Ubuntu 14.04/16.04). I recommend this product to anyone who needs a USB-to-Console serial cable.
