I attached 3 photos. The 1st a part of the description posted for the item. States that the cartridge is the same as original supplied, a carbon-block filter. The filter in the 2nd photo is what was supplied with the cartridge. A pleated pre-filter which reduces sediment particles down to 1-micron size, it's not a carbon block filter. The 3rd photo is the used original carbon-block filter. In defence of the seller if you zoom in on the displayed photos you can see pre-filter on the box.
