An excellent and informative guide for anyone planning or making a trip.
As far as I am concerned, these are pretty much the perfect local guide. The detail is excellent and the format is easy to follow, and yet the book is reasonably compact - not quite pocket size, buy easy to slip into a small bag. I also like the good use of imagery. Too many guides of this size rely purely on text to get the message across, and I much prefer the more pictorial format that DK employs.As far as I am concerned, these are pretty much the perfect local guide.
