This is a brand new atlas of Europe featuring fully updated cartography from Philip's digital database, as used in the best-selling Philip's Multiscale Europe. At just GBP 7.99, this atlas is excellent value for money. The maps are clear, easy to follow and an ideal size for use in a vehicle. Major routes and destinations are highlighted in bold colours. Car ferry routes are marked on the maps, together with journey times. Toll, toll-free and pre-pay motorways are clearly shown, along with junction numbers. Scenic routes are highlighted, and the maps show hundreds of places of tourist interest including beaches, theme parks and World Heritage sites. The atlas is divided into three sections, together with a comprehensive index: 15 pages of route-planning maps at 1:4m which enable journeys of over 1,200 miles to be planned without turning a page; 103 pages of clear, detailed road maps at 1:1m and 1:2m, with scenic routes highlighted and toll, toll-free and pre-pay motorways clearly shown; and, 21 city centre plans marking historic buildings and tourist attractions as well as car parks, head post offices and other facilities.
