Flat on the puull down faucet connector side and fits a normal shower faucet. Kitchen faucet hook up is a M15x1.0mm thread but is not a fixed flat surface but it works with a flat mating surface, but I did install 2 M15 washers just to make sure no leaks.

I wish that the connector had a 6 position hex nut but only has a single position. Hard to get a hold of the nut and install it tightly. I had to order another hose and I had them put an additional gasket in the bag of the second item. Everything went well, my kitchen faucet is now working just fine.
