    Microsoft X08 USB Wired Optical Mouse (circa 2000/1.1 USB)

    Gee, what can I say about the Microsoft X08 USB Mouse? These are classics and extremely well made. I have had experiences with these for a very long time, and I have never used one that hasn't worked perfectly. They are the successor to the Intellimouse from the late 90s with the ball, and have the same shape. They have a nice feel and probably the best sounding click from a non-mechanical mouse. They are fantastic to use while programming. I have larger hands, and it still feels nice to use.

    First good mouse.

    Back in the day, over 10 years ago I had a mouse like this. wasn't the usb variant but was still the same type. and it was the first good mouse I ever had, all the others were the ball type back then, and pretty unreliable as they worked with friction and gravity, although I had one that had water in it and a floaty dude, so at least it looked cool. But as the wall mart specials were getting destroyed by my competitive world of warcraft playing, I remembered the simplicity and effeciency of these early model mouse's, and I bought one. days and thousands of clicks later, I'm happy. ^^

    A bit larger than most. Fits my hand better.

    It's just a mouse. But I wanted one that was a bit larger than the local stores had. This one replaced my old one that was identical.
