  • Typical Parker

This Parker book is different, as it is set in the Old West, and was rather historical in nature. It was about the Earp brothers and their life in that era. What is usually ommited in these stories is the slant on the women that were part of the Earp's life. I liked the dialog of the characters, and the explanation of their feelings. Parker can write about anything!

  • Boring story. Not worth buying.

I have read many, many of Parker's books. Most of the Spenser series and also really enjoyed his western series with Virgil and Hitch. But this book was just plain boring. I read many 1/4 of it before canceling. Of course, just my opinion.
