About this product

Product Information

Anne's own true love, Gilbert Blythe, is finally a doctor, and in the sunshine of the old orchard, among their dearest friends, they are about to speak their vows. Soon the happy couple will be bound for a new life together and their own dream house, on the misty purple shores of Four Winds Harbor. A new life means fresh problems to solve, fresh surprises. Anne and Gilbert will make new friends and meet their neighbors- Captain Jim, the lighthouse attendant, with his sad stories of the sea; Miss Cornelia Bryant, the lady who speaks from the heart -- and speaks her mind; and the tragically beautiful Leslie Moore, into whose dark life Anne shines a brilliant light. The original, unabridged text A specially commissioned biography of L. M. Montgomery A map of Prince Edward Island

Quick shipping. Interestingly, the description was a 1983 Guinness Book, but the photo was of a 1982 Book. I got the 1982 Book as pictured. Other than that it is great!

  • Wonderful Reading for any age!

These books are timeless. They are considered juveline literature but I love them, even at 31! I bought this with a complete set for myself and for my daughter to read when she gets older. These are a wholesome read in a time when the media is overrun with filth.

  • All of L.M. Montgomery's books are excellent.. sweet

I loved the whole series of Anne Books. They are sweet and beautifully written. A time of innocence that you don't find often in modern day writers. I would recommend it to everyone.

  • I love this book!

My grandmother gave me these books when I was a little girl, and I've recently started collecting them again. Such a treasure. Anne's adventures never cease to enthrall and amuse.
