  • The story of history through the hands of American Women.

Excellent source for information relating to the history of quilting. The book tells how the art of quilting has given women the ability to document social and historical events through their eyes and hands. If you thought women had no voice or understanding of political issues then you need to look at history in a different view. The women in America were not only ensuring the comfort and needs of the family were taken care of each day. These courageous women were instrumental in supporting the men that were responsible for most of major historical events of their time. It gives credence to the important role that women contribute in history.

  • The American Quilt

I checked this book out of the public library and had such a wonderful time reading it. But being it is a huge book, I couldn't read all I wanted to read even after renewing the book twice. It is so beautiful book, in such excellent condition, and wow! what a great price. Thanks so much.
