    Would have LOVED some directions.

    Product works fine. Unfortunately took most of an afternoon to figure out exactly HOW this whole thing was supposed to fit - absolutely NO directions or schematics. STILL have some remaining pieces and took one trip to the hardware store for longer bolts to fit my particular bike (2005 Road King). Had to look at some OTHER vendor listings for this product to see what they had. Still took some hit/miss trial and error fitment arrangements. Once all together, DOES work fine.

    good quality and good fit

    I have a two-up 2001 Road King Classic. I needed a luggage rack to support tour pack. This docking kit works perfect. There were no instructions or diagrams and it took me about 2 hours to figure out which spacers on which bolts and which holes to use. Once all that was figured out, I tightened the bolts and the rack mounts and dismounts very easily and it is very solid.

    Detachable Tour pack hardware docking kit

    The only draw back is that there are no instructions with this kit. The kit will fit multiple applications and that's a plus. Also the front mount is a little smaller than the docking mount. Therefore there is a little play here. I just reduced the amount of shims at this point to tighten it slightly to avoid the rattle.

    Exactly what you would expect for a 1/2 price part.

    Typical aftermarket part, no direction, hardware is crap, expect to “finesse “ it a bit. That said it works well once on. And it already out lasted the cheap plastic chop tour pack.
