Revell 857812 1/32 Teracruzer w/Missile Renwal SSP Plastic Model Kit
This is a reissue of a kit that that originally was issued when I was a kid. I always wanted one then but was never able to afford it at that time. An original issue of this kit recently sold on eBay for around $500. So when this reissue appeared at such a reasonable price , I had to fulfill my childhood dream . I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the kit. The model is cleanly molded with no flash and well detailed with an excellent instruction manual. In fact it is so well done I am actually considering building it to display a "cold war" technological weapon system.This is a reissue of a kit that that originally was issued when I was a kid. Revell/Renwal Teracruzer with Mace Missile
Revell's reproduction of the late 1950's Renwal Teracruzer and Mace Missile is a wonderful blast from the past. Though the kit itself is 1/32 scale, it still should fit nicely alongside the more popular 1/35 armor scale kits of today. The Teracruzer/Mace kit builds into a rather large model. So leave a fair amount of shelf space for this biggie. It doesn't have the detail that one would find in today's 1/35 scale armor kits, but for its time, it was quite ahead and still looks good today. I like the FWD embossed on the front of the prime mover as the Four Wheel Drive Company of Clintonville, Wisconsin built this unusual vehicle for transporting the Air Force's Mace Missile.
