This is the same that PBS was selling, fantastic music
I heard it on PBS and was shocked to find it on ebay. These songs are wonderful, brought back memories of growing up back then. I carry one cd in the car, one in the truck and one in the house and never get tired of singing to them. I hope they come out with more like these, there's nothing like feeling young again and thinking we can conquer the world !! Make more like these, for we are the generation that is in control now.......mom had her songs from the 40's..........we want our music of the 60's. It's funny to think back to the mod days, the yardley lipstick, the go go boots, and then the fringe, the hair, the bare feet.........we had it all then. A great collection of British Invasion songs which brings back a carefree time in the life of a boomer. It includes the songs that we listened to on the radio during a time of early romances, high school dances and garage bands. The collection includes many of the key British hits with all but the Beatles and the Rolling Stones represented. Many of these artists never had but a handful of hits and so this is an excellent way to collect them without spending an arm and a leg. And these songs are remastered to a clarity we never heard on our AM radios, or that new stereo system you got when you could first afford it. This is a worthy addition to anyone who enjoys all their hits in 1 place. A solid collection of mostly familiar hits from the Brits.Many of the songs have been on other compilations,.but,..being grouped together in this format was fine.
