None of that - hearing footsteps when you walk on hard floors - setting 1 and 2 for normal mode and voice. Outdoor mode, setting 3, amplifies all sounds which is useful when you are in an environment the DSP computer is not optimised to handle. Pretty good, and the next step up from the ultra cheap version. Perhaps not quite there when it comes to the cocktail party test. Perhaps a bit slow on dampening sudden sounds.
