    thermostatic radiator valves known as altech altrv015

    Had 9 of these Altech TRV's fitted in Nov 2015, while having a new boiler fitted. 2 stopped working, meaning the radiators were on constantly. I tried fixing them but no success so from UTUBE videos I established that I could just replace the heads. However, it was impossible to find just the heads so I purchased 3 new ones from ebay. Worked well without disruption and I did it myself so quite proud of my little bit of DIY as no longer have my late husband to do it. Why do manufacturer not do spare parts. It's very annoying having to buy complete unit when all I needed was the top bit, the head. Also impossible to find in Plumming/heating outlets. Surely they're not obsolete in under 2 yrs!!

    A good replacement!

    It arrived promptly and I took off the control unit and it fitted on. the existing valve replacing the previous one that was damaged and would not turn off.

    Altech Thermostatic Radiator Valve

    I was told that this product would come with a Lockshield Valve but it didn't it came with a ordinary Radiator Valve not a Lockshield Valve
