About this product

Product Information

Author, painter, and filmmaker Clive Barker lends his writing talent to Jericho, a supernatural shooter that has players leading a diverse strike force against an ancient evil. The seven-person squad, known as the Jericho Team, is armed with more than conventional weapons. Each male and female soldier is an expert in the arcane arts, from clairvoyance and alchemy to exorcism and blood magic, allowing the team to solve puzzles and to more easily defeat a ghastly assortment of hell-spawned creatures hoping to make Earth their new playground.

Players control Captain Ross, who has the unique ability to leap into each squad member's mind and body. This talent allows Ross to use each character's paranormal proficiencies in creative ways, such as manipulating the direction of bullets or even spontaneously setting creatures on fire. Each soldier is also skilled in specific weapon types, ranging from rail guns to sniper rifles to swords. Levels will send the squad through the following five eras in its ongoing battle to stop the primordial armies: modern day, World War II, the Crusades, Ancient Rome, and Sumerian times.

Enjoyable gameplay in spurts, not a lot to replay sfterwards.

I love the atmosphere and mythology of the game. Graphics are good for a first generation xbox 360 game. There are a few cons, like linear gameplay and a non existent fps tactical aspect, but, I still enjoy the game, the characters and their abilities.

  • Top critical review

    This game is terrible

I was hoping that this would be a hidden gem. Not at all. The gameplay is almost unplayable and the enemies are way too fast and hard to kill, being that the gunplay to this game absolutely sucks. Don’t buy. It’s not worth the headache

  • Great action but a little too dark.

This game offers similar gameplay as Doom 3 but with a far more enthralling storyline, this gameplay portion is partly a downfall. In the comparison between this and Doom 3 I speak in terms of the darkness factor becoming very common with this genre of shooter. The caves and corridors in this game are very dark and often offer little chance to have a leg up on the bad guy and sometimes you are often face to face with a frustrating foe before you realize you are being attacked, although this does add to the suspense of a game it gets old very fast and the lack of change in scenery makes the game more bland. The character switching and special abilities add to the gameplay value and offer thrilling moments of gameplay but they compare poorly to the similarly utilized "plasmids" ...

  • oOoOoOo soOoOoOo scarrrryyyy....lmao

Wow I crossed my fingers hoping that this game would rock as a first person shooter,I mean c'mon now we have Clive Barker aka the king of the almighty "Pinhead" from Hellraiser.I was getting a little hyped up once jumping off the helicopter and getting into the game and main story line, yeah which lasted for 10 minutes. This game has got to be one of the oddest games to play....and not by shooting in anyway,no that part is simple,it's controlling everyone in your crew. For example each member of your crew has a unique style of combat and you may have to use them at certain times of the game, but reading on how to do it while firing your weapon is kind of hard.Holding the "A" button then selecting with the directional pad, pressing down for "Alpha" or ...

  • Great game, under rated.

This game is great. It does a great job at building a horror-like atmosphere for your characters to travel through, and the constant darkness of these levels is great! Lot's of people bash it because you do not have much freedom in roaming around in this game, but that ads a lot to the difficulty. When you are going through trenches and run across a pustule infested suicide bomber you have nowhere to run, and some of your team will probably die in the process. But, you can always revive these characters! Switching between characters is a vital part of the game as well and each character has their different unique abilities and weapons. The AI and your personal armada are not very intelligent and will often make stupid mistakes, but this is true in just about any game ...
