Synopsis
Castle Hillcrest is about a rural Baron and his castle, the heroes that protect it, and the enemies who wish to destroy it. Hillcrest is just one part of the huge world of Claemairem. It starts out slow and accelerates exponentially as evil forces come to bear. A wizard with dreams of money and power starts off this majestic adventure by leading a mercenary band to attack Hillcrest. A demon is then released from its prison in a sword; that brings the gods into play. Lord Barton who is a lost family line of the castle's heritage; combats the politics of the kingdom verse what is right and wrong. He and his castle becomes the target of the king and his hidden red dragon advisor. There are characters of power that grow and learn to love. They find what has been missing in their lives and the honor of doing the right thing. The gods take an increasing part in the actions of the world as the story unfolds. Unbeknownst to all; the mother who created this world watches as her test begins its journey to its conclusion. What destiny lies in wait for them all?Castle Hillcrest has become the center of the resistance against The Kingdom of Redwing. She has been the target of vast amounts of power brought upon her. Lord Barton has held The Alliance together by tactics and the help from the other races. If Hillcrest falls, the fate of Claemairem will be decided once and for all. Her resistance has become desperate as the evil goddess Lox breaks the rules and drags forces into play to win at any coast. The world shakes as it responds to the powers involved. Unbeknownst to all but a few; an ancient dark god is restored. He moves to reclaim everything.
