A great read for any time of the day or night!
Another great novel featuring Hamish MacBeth, the policeman in a tiny Scottish village. For such a tiny setting, death and mayhem are everyday fare. Enough diverse characters to keep the reader guessing "who did it?" and a spotlight on the villagers who are featured throughout the series. Murder, mystery and humor in a relatively short novel that holds the interest of the reader. Fun mystery in Scotish Highlands. Takes you on the adventures of a contented man doing what he loves, in a town he loves, with people he considers friends. Not your usual fast procedural. Here you savor the people and the place as you are entertained.
