No complaints here! Arrived later than advertised, but that was fine. Good communication by seller. 150-year old book actually arrived in better condition than I expected even though it was delivered inside a thin plastic envelope. For the sale price, I am a very happy customer. Thank you!

It's a message of hope for children that there is good in everyone, even when this seems an impossibility. The wintery garden serves as a metaphor for the Giant's cold and uncaring heart. The story contains a slightly religious overtone, but in my opinion only adds to the beauty of the book. It's a story that should be read and discussed with children of any age. The length of the book is perfect for a bedtime read. I was able to purchase the paperback version, but am looking to pick up a hard cover copy as well. If you enjoy this book you might consider exploring the works of Max Lucado. He offers similar parables with some titles such as, "You are Special to Me," "Because I Love You," and ...
