Starring Academy Award winner Michael Caine and comedian Dylan Moran from BBC's popular Television show "Black Boots", The Actors is a classic light hearted comic caper about two struggling actors, looking for an escape from the nightly humiliation of repertory theatre.O'Malley (Caine) befriends a local gangster, Barreller (Gambon), and upon discovering he owes a large sum of money to a mysterious mobster in London, hatches an apparently fool proof plan to make some easy cash.In order to pull off the scam they take on various disguises and characters and discover a talent for crime they never had for acting. When the real hoods arrive the actors-cum-criminals find their intricate web of deceit stretched to the limit.
