A must have for those not into CFW.
If you’re not interested in CFW, this card reader is the best thing for owners of backwards compatible PS3. Your PS1 PS2 collections will live again! I was able to reduce my console clutter from 5 consoles to just 2, my PS3 and PS5. It doesn’t read 3rd party cards very well, but luckily I had all my saves backed up on oem cards as well.

Overpriced, but does the job
It is overpriced, but it does get the job done. This is sony name brand so it is fully compatible and of high quality. It is not cheap material and matches your PS3 in feel and looks.

Not really worth it
Current market price ($40-$90) is too much for this. All it does is let you move saves off and onto a ps2 memory card. It won’t even let you run directly from the memory card adapter. You have to use the built in Ps3 memory cards, which are limited to 8mb each and requires you to relocate them to the physical memory card when you want to play on a real ps2 or different ps3. Just buy a Ps2, it’s just as cheap and a lot simpler.Current market price ($40-$90) is too much for this. All it does is let you move saves off and onto a ps2 memory card.
