About this product

Product Information

Lisbeth Salander is a wanted woman. Two Millennium journalists about to expose the truth about sex trafficking in Sweden are murdered, and Salander's prints are on the weapon. Her history of unpredictable and vengeful behaviour makes her an official danger to society - but no-one can find her. Mikael Blomkvist, Millennium magazine's legendary star reporter, does not believe the police. Using all his magazine staff and resources to prove Salander's innocence, Blomkvist also uncovers her terrible past, spent in criminally corrupt institutions. Yet Salander is more avenging angel than helpless victim. She may be an expert at staying out of sight - but she has ways of tracking down her most elusive enemies.

Book is in excellent condition - basically brand new - and was described as good, so I’m very pleased! Much better experience than with WorldOfBooks. Fast dispatch, fair price, and sent carefully packaged. If I sound overly impressed, I am! Look forward to using again in the future and hope to be as happy then! Highly recommended.

    Great read.

Draws you in right from the start - but you need to read The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo first, as the story follows on from there. Compelling characters, complex but riveting story line, and at the end you will want to read the third book of the trilogy. Just a shame that Stieg Larsson didn't live to continue the series further!

  • Read all 3 in sequence books 2 & 3 are more pacey, you know the characters

I bought the set of 3 books for holiday reading, to lie on the beach and enjoy the sun. I got through 2 1/2 in 2 weeks and finished the last at home. Better to read the set in sequence but you could start at book 2 & make sense of it all. Don't worry too much about the fine detail and make up your own names if your Swedish is a little rusty / non existent. As I read it the book showed signs of breaking apart from the spine but survived for my wife to read. It represents reasonable value for money and saved me a trawl around the charity shops, thank you eBay! The first in the series takes half the book to describe the characters and situation but keep going. Someone's got some inside info.

  • excellent who dunnit. Great characters

compelling read, looking forward to the next one in the series

  • Ebay was a win win situation for me.Lol

This book series is just so gripping, the writer takes you on a roller coaster ride and you definately will get pleasure from readind the whole series ( 3 books in total ).I borrowed this one from my girlfriend but lost it midway through the book so I just had to replace it as I needed to finish the book and I just could not ownup to losing her precious reading material. Hope Hollywood do the book justice with the film release this December 2011

  • Intriguing plot. Helps if you've read The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo
