I purchased this CD, to replace the one that I had stolen from my car. It was great to find a replacement on E-bay, and I purchased the item and recieved it withing 72 hours. I am a big fan of The Feeling, and would definately reccomend the album. Kind regards Richard
Great album. I would highly recommend it.

I am very much into clever-clogs ‘Post Rock’ and electronica at the moment, so I was primed to sneer at ‘Twelve Stops From Home’ when my mate insisted I give it a listen. Just goes to show how wrong you can be. This CD is a joyous, upbeat, feel-good riot. I believe the opening trio may be the strongest since ‘Teen Spirit’, ‘Come As You Are’ and ‘In Bloom’ on Nirvana’s ‘Nevermind’, not that there is any similarity in sound. The opener ‘ I Want You Now’ is a cock-sure statement of intent; the breakthrough single ‘Fill My Little World’ is instantly catchy, driven by piano and ‘Never Be Lonely’ is a fantastic 70s MOR throwback – surely the best song Supertramp never wrote. The rest of the album is just as strong: loads of harmonising and sing-a-long backing vocals, all held together with a wonderful British spirit (‘Kettle’s On). The closer ‘Blue Piccadilly’ is a real lighter-waving anthem with the most rousing ‘la la las’ I have heard since ‘Olsen Olsen’ on Sigur Ros’s ‘Agaetis Byrjun’ (there – managed to squeeze a Post-Rock reference in!) It is no surprise to me that there have been so many singles released from this CD as the album is genuinely packed with hits. It is a sheer joy to listed to from beginning to end and is recommended to all music fans without hesitation. Absolutely love it!Read full review
You can't help but like this album really. All of the tracks are well-written, well-performed and can be “sung-along-too” after just a couple of listens. You might also be very surprised at how many of the tracks on here that you already know! This is predominantly radio-friendly (easy to listen to) music and yes I agree with some of the reviews which state there’s perhaps an air of Squeeze, Electric Light Orchestra and maybe Supertramp in their sound. Whilst I can’t fault the album I can’t give it the 5/5 stars as for me it doesn’t demand repeated listening. That said I must give special praise to the track “Blue Picadilly” which at almost 10 minutes long is something very special! Recommended if you’re looking to listen to something bright and refershing.
This is a really chirpy sing-a-long happy cd. I can't stand pretentious pop "with a message" - I just want music to lift my mood and leave me feeling cheerful and glad I listened. I bought this because I was given their latest cd "Join with us" for Mothers Day (that's also excellent) and wanted their first cd as well. I'm glad I bought it, especially at a very reasonable price from eBay!
Head this band live and fell in live with them the cd is totally brilliant from start to finish and they have there own special sound love this album well worth adding to your cd collection cant wait for the next one love everything about the feeling!
Ooo errr missus! How English can you get? Not much more than this album surely?? 12 songs, 9 good ones, 3 middle album ropey ones, results in a thoroughly enjoyable romp climaxing with the rather sparkling anthemic "Blue Picadilly". Shamelessly lifting ELO backing vocals and Brian Mays guitar, "12 stops and home" encompasses these sounds within well crafted, sometime quirky "Blur" like Brit Pop. I smiled my way through this, and am still smiling now! Buy it.
Only bought this album because I liked a couple of the songs id heard on tv and now love the whole album can’t get enough, it’s in the car, on my pc at work and at home, on the i-pod and set one of them as a ring tone on my phone, sad or obsessed not sure? Well worth the money, a definite must!!!! Easy listening and simply just a great cd!!! Absolutely nothing to dislike, favourite songs are numbers 1, 3 and 5!!!!
I am a big fan of 'Fill My Little World'. After hearing the two singles so far, I rushed out last week and bought the album. To be honest, and I might be being harsh here, but I found little else on the album that was worth listening to. I found the lyrics to be very poor, and this was not improved by the quality of the vocals. If you go out and spend a lot of money on this, and then like me you end up very disappointed, don't say you haven't been warned! Perhaps this band isn't the housewife's choice afterall. I give it 3/5 - 1 for each of the two singles, and 1 for the great album cover artwork. There really is nothing else to it.
Because their music is unique, creative and very real. I couldn't afford to buy it full price and wanted to see if I could buy it cheaper on Ebay. This is where I buy all of my cd's as they are always cheaper including postage, than from the high street shops. Even though the CD was used it was in perfect condition and you couldnt tell it wasnt brand new. Ebay is the best place to buy music.
