Great Acoustic guitar strings, the coating on the string extend the life of the strings. This means more time playing, less time changing your strings. Should last you a minimum of 3 months depending on the amount of playing you do. These strings have a great feel and produce great sounds. I've tried a handful of other brands and these have been my favorite so far. I'm no expert as I've only been playing for 6 months, but in my short experience these are my favorites.

Good day After receiving the strings I fitted them to 2 of my guitars. After a few days I noticed the strings are loosing their bright brass colour and becoming dull. I've been using Elixir strings for years and never seen this happened! As a Forensic Scientist, I decided to examen the unopened strings ( 3 of 3) under a stereo microscope: -There was no nano coating visible on any string; -The string cores were not 6 cornered as it is specified but round with two flat sides; -The thickness of all 6 strings were under the specification it should be. I strongly suggest and suspect that the genuine Elixir strings were removed from its original packaging and replaced with these low quality rings!! I URGENTLY REQUEST GENUINE ELIXIR STRINGS OR A REFUND!!!

I love this brand, Elixir. The Light 11052 are perfect for any type of acoustic guitar. They hold up with daily practice, heavy strumming, fingerpicking and jamming for months. Fewer string changes, and they hardly ever break even when over tuning. They stand up to high and low moisture environments, are rust proof and easy on the fingers. They sound better than any other name brand of strings I have used in the past. Far and away the best strings on the market.

Elixir strings last longer than uncoated strings and they don't "squeak". They have a nice smooth feel, though not slick or slippery. I recommend them especially for newer guitars and for all styles of playing. They cost a little more but last longer and sound better - a good value.

The Elixer 11052 strings are hard to beat. They sound great, last a long time, and are easy on my fingers normally. However, the sets that I purchased from the seller were old and almost rusty. I threw them away. I just ordered two more new, fresh sets of 11052 strings for my Tak. I love them. Beware of cheap strings from China.

Highly recommend for beginners like myself. Easy to install and fun to use, not to rough on the hand but still sounds great!

Elixir strings are the best I have ever played and you get three sets for just over the price of one. Unbelievable value - and prompt, courteous service. A no-brainer....

Using 11-52 Nanos on my Martin OMC-15ME. Much smoother touch for left hand fingers than the stock Martin Lights. The tone spectrum in comparison might be slightly compressed due to being thinner and coated, but these Elixirs will maintain their tone and feel far longer.

These strings are much more comfortable to play than the typical 80/20 non coated ones. They also don’t make as much noise when sliding down the neck.
