    An accurate representation of Herges Adventures!

    Although I have not watched this 3D edition as yer, having read the books many times over as a child, I thought this was a stunning animation that bought the specific book to life. Was a pity it never followed up, but the premature death of 3DTV, means this will nonetheless be a real treat.

    Non stop action for all the family!

    When I first heard that Spielberg was making a 3D film I thought Yeah! Then I heard he was making 'Tintin' and I thought Nooooooo! Then I saw the film, first in 2D and I thought Yeah! Then I saw it in 3D and thought OMG! It is a fantastic film. Typically Spielberg in its clever use of camera angle and precise detail. The action is relelntless, the story cleverly woven, the characterisations superbly well rounded. Captain Haddock steals the show with ease and is destined to be as legendary a seaman as Captain Jack Sparoow but for entirely different reasons. A superb story, film, and brought to life with the advent of 3D technology. Watch it now!
