I recently switched over from AT&T to Verizon. My previous phone was the Pantech Reveal with AT&T. I have found this Verizon phone to be satisfactory and since switching over to Verizon I get much better signal strength then AT&T. The one thing I have found to be a negative on the Pantech Caper is it has no SD card Capability or the ability to record music and store it like my Pantech Reveal did. This phone would be better if it did have SD card availability, but its not a bad little phone. The texting is better then the Reveal model as you can see the numbers better and the speakerphone works well. I give the Pantech Caper a 7.5 out of 10. I give the Pantech Reveal an 8 out of 10.
I love my Pantech Caper! Voice clarity is great. Texting is a breeze with the keyboard. Nice camera. Too many great features to list. I've owned one for years and I'm still discovering helpful features. Verizon is even reducing the use charges effective Feb. 29th making it an even bigger bargain! I ran over my last one with my truck and wouldn't have anything else but another Caper to replace it. Verizon was very helpful with the user transfer.

I get more bars in more places. It isn't the most well-known brand but I gave it a try and I love it.Its easy to use ,buttons are small but I've had no problems. Texting is quicker and with less errors.
Bought it because I had started texting and my flip phone was just not working out. Love this phone. Keys are easy to use though I still haven't learned all the ways to go about things. I was amazed at the battery life even compared to my other phone which I thought kept a great charge. It's pretty light weight and easy to carry around even in your pocket. The camera is okay but not great but I have a digital camera for those kinds of pictures. Would definitely buy again.
Nice phone with a lot of features. The texting keyboard is nice but the keys are very small for a texting keyboard. Another issue is the keyboard is supposed to lock to prevent keys being pushed when not intended. I found that it still was pushing keys when in your pocket or in the case when not intended. The battery life is horrible. I even bought a new battery thinking that might be the problem. It still could only get 6 days before recharging the phone. This was on standby with only a few occasional calls. In this regard it was very disappointing. I am used to a phone that gets at least 10 to 14 days on standby. In an age when many phones last a month on standby it is very disappointing. I couldn't even find a generic battery with longer battery life for this phone.
I really like this phone. It just feels like such a step up from the other verizon prepaid phones. The keyboard is excellent! The buttons are not too small like other phones that have like a slide out keyboard. Its easy to use and very easy to customize. I think you can pretty much customize everything from font, font color, layout, layout colors, when and where you want the clock to show up, etc.
Just exactly what I was looking for, the same phone I had, just brand new!

I bought the phone because it has a qwerty keyboard and the price of it. The only thing I dislike about it is that you cant use a memory card. Over all its a great phone. Have never had a problem with it.
I love this phone. It is easy to use and much easier to text than my previous phone. I also appreciate the keyboard locked feature. No butt calls and no worry carrying it in your pocket.
