NotesWith many - even great - one-man-bands, the fascination is the variety of sounds that one man can produce. Initially, that's true of Doctor Ross. Quickly, though, you forget that this material is being made by one musician and marvel simply at it's quality. He had become a one man band to augment his sound for a WW2 USO show. Such was his reception, he rarely changed. Here he is at one of his creative peaks (and with occasional sidemen), showing why he later became one of the favorites of the European circuit. This collection, including tracks never heard before on CD, is from compiler Neil Slaven's own library.
