- 1***c (8)- Feedback left by buyer.Past yearVerified purchaseNot a direct fit for 1974 Honda XL100 as the mounting holes are too close, that's not too difficult to adapt with a small metal block. This is advertised as a 6V coil, however it does not provide enough spark to run the engine unless the spark plug gap is reduced to 0.005 inches. With the gap that small, the engine runs OK, but is sluggish and a bit down on power. And yes, I have a fresh and healthy battery.
