There are no stores in Far Cry Primal, so gamers must collect raw materials from animals and plant life to create and upgrade bows, arrows, clubs, spears, and primitive bombs. Players can hunt for food, build fires, use special Owl Vision to scout enemy strongholds, and learn to tame animals as hunting and fighting companions. Ubisoft developed a fictional language for Far Cry Primal, with three distinct dialects representing the three main tribes in the game.

    Great Game Good Bang For The Buck

    If you're a fan of the Far Cry series, you've probably already played it and you know it's good. If you haven't played Far Cry Primal for whatever reason, give it a try. There are tons of side missions as well as main story missions, so there's PLENTY to do.The idea of an open ended sandbox style game set in pre-historic times is awesome. This game averages between $10 - $15, and at that price you couldn't find a better game with more bang for your buck if you tried.

    My son enjoys the game but a lot of it seems to be foreign an sounds jibberish it's good but it's not great anything under 20 is about what it's worth. Good if you like hunting survival games.

    if only map editor and multiplayer existed in this game...

    this is a great game you really feel like you are 10.000 years ago. This would be one of the best games of all time if it included map editor and multiplayer as previous far cry games have. truly a dissapointment. the campaign is good but after you beat it there's not much more to do.

    Best game

    This looked like a good pick up. I just got a PS4 this December and was looking to build up a good library if fun games. This one takes the cake! Out of about 20 other games I've purchased this is the funnest. So much detail, so many things to do, so action packed and so very unique. How fun to be a prehistoric man. Best $16 I've ever spent. Totally worth it, steal if a deal, and the disc came clean in case.

    Great game

    I got Far Cry Primal for my husband's birthday and he has played it everyday since (going on a month now) Excellent graphics with a long, compelling story. An excessive amount of missions, locations to discover and things to do. Its amazing that you can tame animals such as a bear or leopard. Crafting and upgrades are kind of like Far Cry 4 but there are no firearms. I repeat, NO FIREARMS! If your looking for a shooting game, this is not something you want. The weapons are bow & arrows, clubs and knives. There are no guns at all, but that doesn't affect overall game play, just more challenging. And my husband loves it just the way it is and would recommend.
