Stop hood lift
This is the best hood hold down system that I have ever seen. When you meet an 18 wheeler while there is a cross wind across the front of the truck and then across your Jeep, the hood will vibrate considerably up and down when you have the stock rubber catch, I understand that there is a steel safety catch under the hood in the front but that hood will still move up and down about 1 to 1 1/2 inches and these hood catches stop this completely. The only thing that I am not too thrilled about is that I live in Arizona where it gets rather warm and my hood catches are the silver coated ones, not the black ones and silver coating tends to degrade, Because of this, when I ordered another set of them for a friend of mine, I ordered a set of black ones so that the color degrading of the silver coating wouldn't happen.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Should do the job keeping my hood from "floating" due to rubber latch from the factory.

Hood flutter be gone!!!
If you want to get rid of that hood flutter when on the freeway, these will do the trick. Great quality. Installation might be a little tricky if you have bigger hands.
