About this product
Product Information
Age is just an abstraction not a straightjacket. Craig Morrison, Still Mine.Based on a heartfelt true story, Still Mine is an inspiring ode to love and a life of resilience. Craig Morrison (Oscar nominee James Cromwell, The Artist) is an 89-year-old farmer living in the rural tranquillity of New Brunswick, Canada. Challenged to keep his farm going using traditional methods, he comes up against stifling opposition when he sets out to build a more suitable house for his ailing wife Irene (Oscar nominee Genevive Bujold, Anne of The Thousand Days) who is suffering the early stages of dementia.Utilising the tried and tested methods ofbuilding taught to him by his father decades ago, Craig soon finds himself on the wrong side of an overzealous government inspector, who questions and scrutinises every minute detail of the build instigating a series of stop-work orders which threaten to undermine the entire operation -placing the elderly couple's future in considerable jeopardy.Exploring both the travails of companionship and the frustration of bureaucracy, Still Mine is a tender tale of togetherness and perseverance in the tradition of inspirational award winners Amour, The Straight Story and Life As A House.

- v***v (713)- Feedback left by buyer.Past monthVerified purchaseSeller sent wrong DVD (untracked) but immediately upon contact undertook to send the correct one which still hasn't arrived. Seller has since refunded. If it arrives, Ill contact and pay for it. Sending untracked always seems to take forever (austpost issue). Best to using tracking and happy to pay extra postage as a buyer to be sure. Thanks for excellent communication.
- t***c (24)- Feedback left by buyer.Past 6 monthsVerified purchaseSeller communication was excellent and they were prompt to offer a refund for the damaged items + a free gift which is good transparency and an earnest response, SO i am changing this review to positive, I did not accept the refund/gift as ultimately the fault was mostly with the Postal service. I still maintain that they should take extra precaution with their packaging, but if something does go wrong with your order, It appears they will contact you to at the very least offer a full refund.
