    Value for money

    This was one of my late mothers favourites, I thought of it a few weeks ago so ordered it and now I can see why. Many of the actors seem to make it real, it is certainly enjoyable no doubt I will watch it a few times more and not be bored with it.

    Poldack 1975 / 1976

    Great story I saw the series one in 1975 when I was 18 years old and I love it , I never saw series two due was shown a year later, after all this time after my retirement , I have completed seeing series two , on my opinion it not as entertaining as series one , and also I have watched the new version of Poldack was shown few year ago on BBC one, the filming and acting was much better, but still I prefer the original the 1975 which keep you glue on from the start to the finished.

    I've read half the Poldark novels and watched the 2010s adaptation so it will be interesting to see how the 1970s adaptation will compare. Whether they had a child actress to play Demelza at 13 and if they stayed faithful to the books.

    Turning the clock back

    I haven't watched the new series because you cannot beat this old version. I was glued to the TV when this was shown so it was my favourite and I had to have a copy for remembering it. An excellent series well worth viewing again. Thanks for selling. Will enjoy .
