    Good drive. Plenty of life despite it being used.

    Well..to be fair...YOU HAVE TO DEACTIVATE the POWER OFF feature because of its Enterprise Server Origins. The pin on the power connector needs to be bypassed...with a 4 PIN adapter instead of the five wire coming from the typical power supply. The live 3.5 volts keeps the drive from POWERING UP.

    have been unable to use since it is part of western didgital update with hard reset option I have tried several "internet "fixes whch have not worked im sure that the drve is wonderful I just didnt do my research to make sure icould use it wth my "legacy " system

    Hard Drive works great. Comes with the cable adapter to work on normal desktops. I haven't heard the "noise" others have said, seems quiet to me. I'd probably buy another if I had room in my computer tower.

    Both drives are now part of an Unraid server and have been working without any issue, these drives have had 4+ years of use on them but considering that they are enterprise drives there is quite a bit of life left in them.
