    Fun if frustrating

    The kit is well- detailed even without the included photo etch parts. Assembly is almost intuitive for the experienced modeller, which is good since the weakest part of this kit is the instructions. Parts placement is often unclear, even though the exploded views of subassemblies are well-drawn. I would definitely recommend this kit for the intermediate to experienced ship modeller, as the PE parts can be very fiddly and frustrating to build. Overall I enjoyed building this kit, and it looks nice on my bookshelf.
