Unrestricted Warfare reveals the dramatic story of the harsh baptism by fire faced by U.S. submarine commanders in World War II.     Very imformative view of U.S. Submarine Warfare in WWII

    Much has been written about the problems U.S. Submarines encountered in the beginning of WWII. This book gives a new outlook as to some of the causes of problems that actually were set by events and practices formulated several years before the start of the war. I served in the 1960's on Diesel Submarines that were built during WWII. Many of the older crew members were veterans of WWII Submarine service and this book really made sense with what I learned and experienced from these individuals. stamp890
