    fargin' laptop

    I used a Toshiba laptop in a previous job and loved it. I bought this based on that experience and am not disappointed. It's very light, thin, good battery life and 13" display. Fast enough and well designed.

    Would not recommend.

    The Toshiba Chromebook 2 I received was very slow. It struggled to stream videos in anything over 480p and took long to load pages. Ruled out internet connection; my phone, desktop PC, and finance's laptop all worked great on wifi. This Chromebook was either too slow or mine was defective. The sound quality was superb and it was very lightweight. The battery life lasted a long time. But the build quality seemed kind of flimsy, I wouldn't be surprised if it broke from one drop. I would recommend a faster more expensive Chromebook.

    It's ok, plenty fast, just not in the best shap

    I wanted a chromebook for the speed. I got that but this unit was used and it looks it. The battery may be wearing out since it doesn't hold a charge as long as I had hoped and dies soon after going down to about 50%. It also is a bit beat up, but functions well, so that's something on the "plus" side.

    Toshiba Chromebook 2 - Great little Chromebook.

    This is my second Toshiba Chromebook 2, only because someone stepped on it and cracked the screen. The Toshiba is small and light but it can take a few knocks, as long as you don't step on it!. It is easy to use and like other chromebooks is very reliable. It has a good keyboard and the trackpad is easy and precise once you get used to Chromebook gestures. I have never had any problems with performance even with a ridiculous number of tabs open. I would definitely recommend.

    Beware of Cigarette Smell

    This is my 3rd chromebook. They are lightweight but break easily. This one arrived with a crack near the charging port and smelling so horribly of cigarettes I had to let it sit in the basement for a few days to air out. I am not sensitive to cigarette smoke but it was so overpowering it made me nauseous.
