    this book has easy to follow instructions and preceeds chapters and recipes with absorbing historical and culinary facts about the Native American, their regions and foods from those regions. Thoroughly enjoyable and wonderful variety of real open range cooking.

    This is the best Native American cookbook I have ever seen. Not only are there many recipes for the various Nations, but there are also many illustrations. I can't recommend this book enough.
