    Wrong model.

    I purchased this because it was listed as an SCPH-5501. I received an SCPH-7501 instead. Not a huge deal, but I’m modding this console and I wanted a 5501 because of PS1Digital being exclusive to the 5501’s PU-18 logic board. Just one less mod, not too heartbroken about it. The optical drive needed some TLC as loading times were slow and the drive sounded like it was failing to being with, but after some white lithium grease on the rails it seems to be better.

    Everything is good. The console was the worker, has inserted into her the working CD drive and she even considered disks with games. I have played 2 hours, everything works. A good bonus - the console was with the PIC12C508 chip :)
