Boss PS-5 Super Shifter is a guitar pedal designed to produce sound modulations by applying effects such as pitch shifter. To provide the musicians with an option to control the desired aspects of their instrument's tone, this model is equipped with the following controls: balance, hrkey, pitch, mode. The guitar effect pedal features 1/4 jack, expression jack input, 1/4 jack, expression jack output connectors and uses AC adapter/battery power supply.

Pretty good stuff!
One of the best pedal I have. It works as it supposed to. I've already had a Behringer that was told to be like this one, but that is the real deal.

versatile for the vocalist or guitarist that wants some back up
When I consider buying new pedals I always go for necessary function. The super shifter ps-5 exactly does that. Although it does take a second to get the hang of (especially when transposing keys) be sure that the low pitch is solid and the high pitch is true. Very useful for creating a daisy chain pedal synth that uses your true instrument of choice. 5 stars.

A lotta fun in a small package.
It's a very versatile little pedal. I got it so I could do the intro to Lonely Boy by The Black Keys. I haven't tried the harmonies or echo yet.
