Product Information

Rigsby (Leonard Rossiter) is a 365-day-a-year Scrooge who owns a decrepit house full of bedsits that he rents out to people who've fallen on hard times. RISING DAMP follows his antics as he tries to woo the object of his affections, Miss Ruth Jones (Frances de la Tour), while making his other tenants' lives miserable. In particular, Alan (Richard Beckinsale), a long-haired hippie, and Philip (Don Warrington), the son of an African chief, meet Rigsby's ire on a regular basis, leading to some very funny scenes in a show that is considered a comedy classic in its native U.K. The entire second series is included here.
