The Barracuda 7200.11 hard drive features Seagate’s second-generation Perpendicular Recording Technology, where the hard drive delivers a huge storage capacity and improved reliability by increasing data density without sacrificing performance. This Seagate Barracuda hard drive is best for Gaming PCs, Mainstream PCs, Desktop PCs, USB, FireWire, and eSATA personal external storage. The Barracuda 7200.11 HDD features the Seagate AcuTrac Servo Tech that gives you reliable performance even in tough environments. The Seagate OptiCache Tech also helps boost the overall power of this drive. The Barracuda 7200.11 also utilizes the Instant Secure Erase feature that gives you confidence with safe, fast, and easy drive retirement. You don’t have to worry about data loss as all data saved in your Barracuda 7200.11 hard drive is secure and protected with Seagate Secure models. Search and retrieve your lost files due to logical error and accidentally deleted files like photos and documents with the Seagate Data Recovery Software, which can be purchased separately. Seagate support also provides free firmware upgrades to fix identified firmware issues. The Barracuda model ST3320813AS HDD has an internal enclosure. Its on-board cache/buffer size is 8 MB, average seek time is 11 MS, and sustained throughput is 105.
