About this product

Product Information

The first animated film to feature the popular Barbie character, MY SCENE GOES HOLLYWOOD shows what happens when a bunch of regular girls get caught up in the glitz of tinsel-town. Barbie and her friends Madison, Chelsea, Nolee, and Delancey are involved in a typical shopping outing in New York when they come across a film shoot on the street. The excitement continues when the girls are cast as extras for the movie. But when Chelsea catches the director's eye and is cast in a main part, the attention threatens to go to her head. Can the other girls remind Chelsea who her friends are before the glamour changes her completely?

  • Old school,& cartoony, compared to all the Barbie movies out now, Barbie has came a long way!

I just love all the Barbie movies, and have about every one there is, and when I ordered this one, I assumed it would be like all the others... but it was an old cartoon, and Barbie wasn't really playing a very big role... It had a good story, to be learned, like all Barbie movies, and was written by the same writer Elise, with Kelly Sheridan, playing Barble, so that was great, It just looked so cartoony, compared to the brilliant colorful, films Barbie has out now days, she always has so many beautiful characters, and creatures, and magical places, it's come a long way, since this movie, that's for sure! but I am glad to own all of them, and enjoy watching them with my 8 yr old daughter!
