    Honeywell VisionPro 8000 Redlink series ...

    Honeywell VisionPro 8000 Redlink series thermostat. Replaced it 3rd time already. It fails the same way: suddenly overheating near the left lower chassis corner where the button batter sits. Replacing 4 AA batteries temporarily works until failure within a couple of weeks. Using it with Redlink remote. So far it is economical to keep replacing with old units from eBay. Will have to find a new thermostat system with remote eventually.

    Pro-grade Thermostat, good price.

    I've installed and used these Honeywell thermostats before, and decided to put 2 more in my next home. Although they don't have the "glitz" of other units, I have found them to be very reliable and have plenty of useful features and available accessories.

    Perfect upgrade thermostat!!

    It is a beautiful piece of electronics! It allows remote sensing and internet control (optional). For me, this was a "game changer"! I was able to move the sensor from a cold wall to a return air location (where it belongs). This made a world of difference in my living space comfort. The thermostat is adjustable for every programming need. This is a fine addition to any home or office.
