    Canon A-95 Great Old School Camera!

    I'm an older guy w/eye issues and found the Canon A-95 easy to use and no LCD distortion that is a common problem to these cameras. My wife got a A-80 4 mp that I loved and got the extended lens's for. So I wanted a bit more detail in the picture and got the A-95 5mp version and I can still use the extra lens's. So far so good! If you buy either of these cameras make sure seller shows a recent picture of the LCD viewer that is clear and ask that it does'nt show a purple distortion. The rest of the camera is of good quality if reasonably taken care of should last a long time and reliable. Don't leave out in hot car or extreme temperatures as may screw up the CCD/LCD sinse they are sensitive and the replacement CCD's are'nt that great.     great product

    This camera is really old technology (1990's???). But it has all the functions built in (auto exposure, manual exposure, auto/manual focus, movie, etc.). And it has real physical optical zoom: try optical zoom with a cell phone camera. For someone like me who grew up with this technology, it feels like home. And the price is dirt cheap.

    Point and Shoot perfection

    I use it mostly for flowers, and other garden scenes. You need to move around/over and above plants, scenes etc. all the while balancing on your tippy toes, clicking the shutter and clutching your camera. It also does a remarkable job of close up work, capturing insects, flower parts etc. I've received many kudos from other photographers for my work. The A95 is perfection for me.
