    Campy, cult classic

    I first saw this back in early 90's and loved the scary, no-gore aspect. Of course after watching The Walking Dead series I am now de-sensitized but was very excited to purchase this for my entertainment collection! It still works for me....campy yet fun!

    I thought I just did.

    Not exactly high literature but Ive always been drawn to tales of the occult and the outlandish. This tale is a lot of fun, though it has some of the earmarks of low-budget TV--mainly mid-quality dialogue. I was also disappointed with the picture-quality of this edition which looked slightly off-focus to me. But it was still a lot of fun.

    Salem's Lot 1979 w/ David Soul

    Great Movie. It doesn't have all of the special effects of now a days but it's an entertaining scary movie never the less. I highly recommend watching it. It's one of my all time favorite movies

    Salems lot is a underrated horror movie from the 70's that was made for TV and over the decades has become a cult classic it won't gross you out with a overload of gory scenes instead this movie uses a scary plot, mood, creepy scenery and imagery to impact the viewer, any horror movie collector should most definitely add this to their collection ;-)

    Salem's Lot never fails to engage!

    I've seen this movie a dozen or so times on cable TV, when they would actually allow it to be seen, however I just wanted to own my own copy just so if I feel like watching it at 2 in the AM, I can....also, I read the book by Stephen King before it became a movie. I just love SK and all his books for the most part become movies...this one is older, but it's still a favorite! (Along with The Shining, Carrie, IT, and many more...thank you for sending this so quickly, I appreciate it!
