    Hartz UltraSPARC cat ear mite treatment

    I'm sorry to say that this product is just too risky to use on your pet kitty. After reading all the bad things that could happen to your pet, I don't think it's worth it. I don't like the idea of putting your little friend in more agony than it already is. There has to be a safer way.

    Causes extreme scratching

    I generally don't trust Hartz products because they have so many negative side effects, but I needed something for a couple stray cats that I feed. Both immediately started acting crazy and the one that still has claws literally scratched her ears to bleeding. I need to repeat the treatment but feel bad for doing it. They also seemed a bit sleepy, as if they didn't feel well, for several days after treating them.

    Good Product for the Price

    I used this on my cat's ears for the ear mites he had. You only need a small drop or amount to use for 2-3 days.. It did a great job, I did clean the brown stuff off his ears daily with a damp paper towel. Kitty was very happy.
