    forward reverse switch for power wheels 6volt f-150

    I pulled old one out of truck by turning truck over and using a screw driver to release the plastic snaps on center console. Don't forget to unplug the battery. remove 4 Phillips head screws in seat and bed of truck. I pulled the switch apart (look for a circle on 2 sides) . carefully pry apart. dump out dirt and corrosion, and clean up metal contacts. insert cleaned metal butterfly pieces, gently tug on springs to make sure they make contact, and snap together. put back in truck. you are now a super hero. to stay a super hero ORDER this part, It is inexpensive ,easy to replace, and is really main part other than battery that needs replacing.

    Just what I needed

    I bought this to add reverse to my kids' Thomas the Tank Engine. Using a wiring diagram I found online, I was able to add this and wire it up. It works exactly like it's supposed to and my kids love having the versatility of forward and reverse.
