Makes great bread, it is wonderful, I just wish I could figure out how to take this picture of a serial number that doesn't exist in the area to tell me to take it and send it for warranty purposes other than that it works great and I guess I'll have to do it manually but it was well worth the wait and the price was wonderful but if you use them always set it at medium for the bread crust if you set it on low it'll be almost doughy unless it's a very light bread other than that perfect makes the whole house smell wonderfulVerified purchase: YesCondition: New

Well Constructed Appliance
My previous breadmaker was a Sunbeam which had pluses and minuses as does this Cuisinart model. It is easy to use, but I wish the instructions gave a more exact understanding of the various steps in each of the twelve cycles. It is well constructed, quiet in operation, doesn't gets too hot during baking, but I wish I could look more clearly through the lid window. Bread maker pan seal
I ordered just the seal but received a complete set with clips and washers - nice surprise. The seal works very well. The install is a bit tricky : be patient and careful, follow seller's instructions precisely - he obviously knows what he is doing. Make sure to clean all surfaces thoroughly with non metallic tool - I used a bamboo skewer. The most difficult part is to remove the old seal, but when you have the right tool, it's not so bad. I used a paint can opener that is available at home center for a dollar or even for free. That opener has a hook which you can pry the old seal out with. The first loaf I baked after repair came out with black stain around the shaft - I guess it was the last of rust and grime from the old seal, but all subsequent loafs were nice and clean. Overall, I am very happy and glad I could prolong the life of my breadmaker for another year (I hope). We use the machine 4-5 times a week and original seal berelly lasted a year.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Good price, good operation, and delicious bread!
With a recommendation from my daughter I purchased this Cuisinart Bread Maker, and so far I am very pleased with it. I love the 'square' style and the silver-gray color, which blends into my kitchen really well. The operation is very easy, thanks to clear instructions in the book that comes with the machine. Also there are loads of great recipes that I will eventually try. So far I have made several Honey Wholewheat loaves, and they turned out excellent. Also it is very easy to clean the pan. Best Fathers Day gift in a long time.
My dad has had several bread makers, (he wanted one and he Loves the Cuisinart), I shopped online finding this Cuisinart 2lb it is simple to use has notifications between cycles and gives options of how you want the bread done (giving options to make changes [the brown level, dough ready, rising, etc.]. The choice of crust (light,medium,dark) is just one of the features I liked. It will also let you know when you can remove the paddle, something my old machine didn't do.
