    Digital Stream T2 Freeview+ 500 GB ...Good

A Well Designed machine with plenty of info on screen and scrolled across unit display via led's clear screen. All impressive to look at. Easy to use and auto channel setup and info screens, However I've found recording on the EPG you have to use standard recordings setup as the unit wont record future settings on HD or series link. Sluggish at times on EPG and even scrolling up and down screen I've experienced this at times on other units so not a problem if you have patience...common to most at times. All of the above totally exceptable because of the cheap reasonable cost. My main concern however was the amount of times the unit crashed / locked up on a simple closedown when returning to standby. It's better now but... A bit of a niggle ...... Shame really ok overall as it looks like a ...

  • Top critical review

Humax worked initially but disk failed after a week.

The disk in the Humax failed after a week and so I cannot record or replay our few recordings, The packing of the item was excellent and the device worked fine initially

  • Perfect

Just what we needed to replace our old Humax DVR (which was still basically working but had developed some annoying issues). Quite a few good improvements in this model as compared to our old one. It has xcellent features for fast forward/backward during playback, great video & audio quality. A very nice machine - very happy!

  • Discontinued product that is still respected and sought after.

Capable twin channel Freeview recorder from the 2010 era. Still capable and useful now, but with some dated built in apps. Would in my view benefit from better designed internal cooling (especially of its main SoC processor) which can effect older units reliability. Can make use of free 3rd party custom software to provide an enhanced recorder able to allow streaming of in recordings over local network to other connected devices including suitable TV.

  • Humax Fox HD box addition to system

Paid just over £50 +post for another 420 gig of HD storage. Very easy to use and works seamlessly with our other kit. The internal clock gains a minute every couple of days but self-corrects when a program is recorded so no problem really. I also removed the orange filter to make the display brighter. All in all a very good bit of kit for the money and plenty of info on the Humax user forum.
