Excellent trimmer.
This is a great String line trimmer , INMO. As a Dewalt tool owner, it best feature is I can use any of my 20 volt Lion batteries for this, meaning I basically have battery backups and chargers for this unit. It's performance is excellent most times using on lower speed setting, high setting is great and will mow down over grown patches quickly. I bought a universal shoulder strap which does make it easier to work with for extended use times. It folds up nicely with out any difficulty make it easy to store during off season. I am not a professional landscaper so do not know how it would stack up in a continuous use mode. I use it on 2 different properties only and it appears to be sturdy and able to handle occasional rough use. Pull the trigger and it runs !
It uses the same style batteries that my dewalt drill and saw uses , has a lot more power than the worx brand i had before .It is abit heavy but works great. Great gas alternative
I’m a professional landscaper and used to high powered gas mix trimmers. However, this trimmed great on finished lawn area’s and garden edges. Not recommending for brush or fields. Wanted a dependable cordless trimmer and I thought this one had the best reviews. One charge last me 40-45mins on low. Good trimmer, fair price.
So far I'm pleased with the trimmer. It is a bit heavy for extended use, but a guitar strap thru the handle fixed that. The battery lasted long enough for me to do my yard, and that is nice. The charger is designed to either sit on a surface or hang on a wall, and that was a nice surprise, I hung it on the wall just above the outlet, so it doesn't take up any workspace. Dewalt 20 volt trimmer
This trimmer works so much better than my gas trimmer. I am coming up to an age that I don't need to waist my time pulling on the string, playing with the choke, and smelling like gasoline and exhaust. This is all after mixing the gas and oil and storing the mix in a two gallon container in the garage. The battery power is just plug in a fully charged battery and pull the trigger. Have only used it one time so far but the length of the shaft is a little short for me.
